Blue Jay Financial Group, the Defiance, OH based investment advisory firm founded by Jason Bernal and Jason Demland, has launched Blue Jay Financial Group, LLC., a new registered investment adviser headquartered in downtown Defiance.
Blue Jay Financial Group utilizes TD Ameritrade Institutional for custody and clearing services and has supplemented their custom investment management process with new and cutting-edge financial planning tools and technology.
“Launching our own registered investment adviser in Blue Jay Financial Group LLC., was always part of our long-term plan,” said Demland. “This is the final step in becoming a truly independent company. We are excited to be able to serve our clients with tools that might not be available to them otherwise.”
Blue Jay Financial group has been operating as an independent firm affiliated with a broker/dealer since 2015. The move away from using a broker/dealer and to forming their own R.I.A. means that the company will no longer charge commissions but will work in an advisory role.
